My musical journey
My musical journey began with piano studies in my early childhood. In middle school, I started learning the double bass and studied with the renowned international bass educator Ziping Chen.
In 2018, I was admitted to the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, one of China’s leading music institutions, where I studied with Professor Henry Chen.
In 2023, I continued my studies in the United States and earned my Master of Music degree at the Manhattan School of Music, studying with Timothy Cobb, principal bass of the New York Philharmonic and professor at The Juilliard School.
In 2025, I began pursuing my Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of North Texas, studying with Jeff Bradetich and Gudrun Raschen.
